As a mother of seven children and someone who loves to be host guests, I often find myself cooking for large groups of at least ten people. While I love getting creative in the kitchen, I’ve often been disappointed by the lack of online resources dedicated to making large recipes and serving a large number of people.
Doubling, tripling and quadrupling recipes worked for me most of the time, but it was a pretty inefficient way to cook for my friends and family, and it’s not always so easy to make good food when you’re making so much.
Mainly Meals was created as a place for others like me to find solutions to the unique cooking conditions we face when preparing large meals. Whether you have a big family like me or you like to host small events, Mainly Meals is here to provide tips, tricks and recommendations that will help you cook efficiently, without sacrificing taste.
As Mainly Meals came together, we realized there’s some information that’s just too good not to share, even if it’s not necessarily for a party of 15. That’s why we chose to include a dash of variety. At Mainly Meals, you can find meals for children, fancy meals made to impress, simple meals for those who aren’t quite as enthusiastic, fast meals for busy people, healthy meals for everyone, and everything in between.
We also love to make recommendations when we find products that we love and find really useful. Sometimes we make a commission from those recommendations, but we don’t recommend products we don’t believe in. We look for slow cookers, pots and pans and anything else that helps make large or special meals better – and easier for you!
